In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll embrace the foundational principles of Yin Yoga: time, stillness, and finding your edge. No need to worry—there are no headstands or handstands here. In fact, much of the practice is done seated or lying down, making it accessible to all levels.
Yin Yoga offers a powerful counterbalance to our busy, fast-paced (Yang) lives. Through long-held postures—held for 2 to 5 minutes—we’ll gently stretch and stimulate connective tissues for a full body release.
Bring the whole family for this Yin inspired flow focused on restorative and healing postures. Students will hold deep, healing stretches for an average of 3-5 minutes to receive the most relaxing benefits. Slow Flow and Meditation includes an extended Savasana in which students will be led through meditation before walking into the rest of their day a more relaxed and invigorated version of themselves.
